Intermediate Program is for badminton enthusiasts who wants to take the game to the next level, recreational competitions and school team.   Here you will learn to enhance basic techniques and learn proper footwork.    We offer lessons at Centre Avenue Badminton, Menno Simons Christian School SW (Signal Hill), and Foothills Alliance Church (NW).  The next higher level:  Pre-Competition Level
DriveSports Beginners  & Fundamental Program focuses on building a solid foundation.  Our objective is for students to learn correct technique instead of trying to fix bad habits in the future.  This is a high quality learning environment where we will not exceed a 1:4 instructor-to-student ratio during the instructional process.  Students are closely supervised and bad habits or incorrect technique is quickly addressed.  Beginner /Fundamental lessons are typically 1.5 hours and further distinguished between Beginner I and Beginner II.  We offer lessons at Centre Avenue Badminton, Menno Simons Christian School SW (Signal Hill), Midsun Community Centre (SE) and Foothills Alliance Church (NW). The next higher level: INTERMEDIATE
Introduction to Badminton is our gateway program to getting started in the sport.  It is ideal for youths where the focus is on FUN.  The objective of this class is to learn the basics of the sport from the rules, such as the line for singles versus doubles, how to keep score, how to grip a racquet properly, and things to know when getting started.  The goal is to enjoy the sport, and have fun.  Coach to student ratio is 1:8; ultimately the next higher level is our Beginner/Fundamental program.
